Comments/Information/Identification: Found at low tide. From a child’s plate called ‘Going for a Ride’ which shows a boy riding a large dog, possibly a Newfoundland. The piece was made by Barker and Son Staffordshire, England 1850. This particular sherd has unusual hand painted colours as well as the transfer print.
