Comments/Information/Identification: When I pulled this pottery sherd from a stream yesterday in rural Pennsylvania, swastikas were the last thing I expected to see on the underside! I knew it had to be pre-WW2, as it was obviously an American made piece. West End Pottery operated in East Liverpool, Ohio from 1893-1938, and the swastika (then a good luck symbol) was used in their back stamps c.1920.
